Equine Hoofcare Services Pty Ltd is a service company intent on providing high quality service to its clients and the highest level of hoof care to their equine partners in South East Queensland, Australia. The company’s focused on educating the industry on the complex workings of the hoof so it can better understand the problems faced by the horse and their owners.

Darrall Clifford, the company director, has built a reputation as one of the most reliable and experienced Hoofcare Specialist on the Gold Coast (Queensland).

Darrall’s reputation as a consultant, educator and guest speaker has him traveling extensively conducting training courses, lectures and consulting on biomechanical problems in the equine today.

From 1990 Darrall has been researching and conducting clinical trials on orthopaedic balance along with biomechanical relationships between the bony column of the leg and hoof capsule.

Over the years Darrall has formed a close working relationship with Dr. Rowan Kilmartin, veterinary surgeon with a master’s degree in animal chiropractic’s and together they have been working exclusively on biomechanical relationships and achieving and maintaining orthopaedic balance with outstanding results.

Darrall’s experience as a Hoofcare Specialist has been enhanced by closely working with many veterinarians over the years carrying out all types of medical shoeing and assisting in many veterinary procedures. He believes strongly in furthering his knowledge and attends as many farrier / veterinarian lectures throughout Australia and overseas as possible.

His love of improving equine health, and in return their owners to achieve a happy working relationship with their equine partners, will ensure the companies continued dedication in researching this very complex area of structural and functional podiatry and maintaining orthopaedic balance in equines.
